Dropping this Friday, Lola’s upcoming album This Wasn’t Meant For You Anyway, is a testament to her evolution as an artist. Recorded in LA and produced by her friend and collaborator Solomonophic (Remi Wolf, BROCKHAMPTON, Dominic Fike), This Wasn’t Meant For You Anyway is a multi-faceted, fearless concept. Lola’s album is a captivating blend of kinetic energy and is lyrically driven by a mix of rage, passion, narrative flair, and comedy derision, making it a truly unique experience.

Latest single ‘Messy’ depicts a tumultuous relationship and boasts an abundance of witty one-liners perfectly served by Lola. Already gaining popularity amongst her fans on socials, ‘Messy’ launched as Jack Saunders’ ‘Hottest Record’ on his BBC Radio 1 show on release day and showcases a fresh attitude and an alternative-leaning sound explored throughout Lola’s upcoming album.

Through her captivating filmed content and no-nonsense output, Lola has won over a new legion of fans spanning both sides of the Atlantic, including the likes of Snoop Dogg, Tyler The Creator, Ty Dolla $ign, Offset, Michael Stipe, Little Simz and Lily Allen.
